Job Purpose:
This position will provide remote technical support for our clients located throughout the country.

Technical Duties:
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues pertaining to hardware/software/connectivity in LAN/WAN/Wireless networks independently and using current job knowledge, research and external resources.
• Diagnose and repair end user Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications as well as vendor supplied hardware and software.
• Assist on-site technicians in the deployment of new hardware and software platforms.
• Identify and remove malware and viruses using latest tools and techniques.
• Proactively identify potential issues, perform root cause analysis and make suggestions for remediation including additional products or services.
• Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

Technical Requirements:
• Microsoft Windows: Windows 10, Server 2008/2012/2016 OS Proficiency.
• Experience with network equipment and network troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting network laser printers.
• Experience implementing and configuring MS Office Suite.
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring email applications.
• Working knowledge of Antivirus Software: McAfee, Symantec, Trend Micro, etc.
• Working knowledge of Backup applications Acronis, Datto, Veam, etc.
• At least three years of experience in computer maintenance and/or information technology support.
• Microsoft Azure experience is a plus.
• Experience with the following tools are a plus:
o ConnectWise Manage
o ConnectWise Automate
o Auvik
o Putty

Interpersonal Requirements:
• Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport, and deliver excellent customer service over the phone.
• Must be efficient, good at problem-solving, creative, and enjoy helping people.
• Must be highly motivated and able to learn new technologies quickly.

Job Requirements:
• CompTIA IT Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ certifications or equivalents are mandatory.
• Willing to support and work the necessary hours to finish critical work.
• Ability to work full-time, including overtime, flexible hours and participate in an afterhours call rotation.
• A high school diploma or GED; an associate’s degree or higher preferred.
